Harbor is located on Old Tampa Bay within the Golden Triangle
of Florida's Suncoast formed by Clearwater, Tampa, and St.
Petersburg ... just minutes away from airports, the Gulf of
Mexico, golf courses, horse and dog tracks, fresh water lakes,
major league baseball and hockey, restaurants, and shopping
malls.
This
quaint town exudes an "Old South" charm and serenity
enhanced by centuries old brick streets and Spanish moss draped
trees. This quiet village is nestled amidst towering majestic
oaks and offers a refreshing break from the hustling, modern
day pace. Hernando DeSoto discovered the original "Fountain
of Perpetual Youth," sought by Ponce deLeon, here in
the headwaters of Old Tampa Bay back in the 1500's. The museum,
art gallery, library, scenic Safety Harbor Pier and Marina
and moderately priced restaurants are within walking distance.
